Tigers to hit the road for SCAC series vs Hendrix

The Tiger Baseball Team is taking the road to Conway, AK for a 2-game weekend set against the Hendrix Warriors in a match-up of the 2009 SCAC Championship Game.

Trinity vs Texas Lutheran has been changed to April 14th due to poor weather in Seguin, Tx. The Tigers next contest is this Saturday vs Hendrix College in Conway, AK.

Calbick Shows Versatility for Tigers

Kevin Calbick, a JR out of Burnaby, British Columbia, proved this weekend what an asset he is to the Tiger program. Kevin, who is currently hitting .435, took the mound twice this week against Brandeis and performed very well in his outings.

Tigers Take Series vs Brandeis


The Tigers finish a successful weekend against the Brandeis Judges with a 2 out of 3 series win. Mike Panozzo got the win in game 3 on Saturday and improves to 3-0 on the year. The Tigers got big weekends from Kevin Jackson, Dylan Early, and Nick Pappas offensively.

Jones, Klimesh Named SCAC Player and Pitcher of the Week



Evan Jones and Ben Klimesh are the latest Tigers to garner SCAC awards. Evan Jones was named SCAC Offensive Player of the Week after going 10-13 with 2 HR and 2 2B's in the weekend series sweep of Austin College. Ben Klimesh earned SCAC Pitcher of the Week honors for his previously mentioned performance against Mary Hardin Baylor last Tuesday. Congratulations to both players!

Klimesh Builds on Last Outing

Ben Klimesh followed up his last gem with another very strong outing on the hill for the Tigers. Ben went 6 innings and struck out 7, walked 1, and allowed 4 runs in a very positive outing to build on. The Tigers continue their series with the Judges this Friday at 7 pm.

Tigers To Face Brandeis Tonight at 7 pm


Trinity faces off tonight againt Brandeis in a single game at E.M. Stevens Field. The Tigers will send Ben Klimesh to the mound to face the visiting Judges.
