The road trip to Abilene is never an easy one for the Tigers. Dylan Early homered in the win, and Chris Walden went 3-5 with 2 2B's and 5 RBI's. Kevin Clements had a big day all the way around, going 6-10 between the two games with 3 2B's.

Tigers Split Weekend with Millsaps

Getting a conference road sweep is always hard to do, and the Tigers had to settle with a split in Jackson this past weekend. The weekend provided yet another opportunity for freshman LHP Ryan Lucero to show his talents as he went 4.2 innings in relief and 0 ER with 3 strikeouts. The middle of the order maintained their breakneck pace offensively, with 9 hits in 2 games from Felix, Jones, and Pappas. The Tigers return home Tuesday night against Cardinal Stritch at E.M.
